Theo Kindynis is a leading Australian banking lawyer acting for banks, financial institutions and corporate clients in wide ranging financial transactions.
Theo brings more than 30 years' experience to his practice spanning acquisition funding, leveraged finance, project finance, property related and construction financing, debt capital markets, and restructures and insolvencies.
He has particular expertise in property sector-related construction, acquisition and corporate financing deals as well as continuing involvement in post-GFC debt restructures and workouts.
Theo also has extensive dealings in energy-related infrastructure transactions. Following Victoria's privatisation program, he has acted for both lenders and borrowers on such diverse assets as power stations, gas pipelines, electricity and gas retailing and distribution assets.
Some long-standing clients include ANZ, CBA, NAB and SP AusNet.
Theo has been consistently ranked by IFLR1000 as a leading individual in Australian banking law.
