Profile

A focus of my practice is working for companies in distressed situations, Australian banks, other credit providers and mortgage trusts, liquidators, voluntary administrators, receivers and secured creditors as well as corporate clients in contentious situations.

I cover a wide range of areas of law and regulation that impact upon the operations of large banks and corporations. This includes corporate restructuring and refinancing, formal insolvencies (voluntary administrations, receiverships and liquidations), capital raisings, regulatory (ASIC and ATO) investigations, complex commercial disputes and litigation risk management, private acquisitions and disposals, infrastructure arrangements, banking and finance arrangements, complex commercial transactions, third party supplier contracts.

I'm proud of my time seconded to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission as senior lawyer to the National Insolvency Team and as senior legal counsel to the Property team at Lendlease.
