Born in 1993, Simon Olstein studied law at the University of Basel (MLaw 2018) and at Tel Aviv University and passed the bar exam in the Canton of Basel-Stadt in 2021. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, he gained professional experience at the Civil Court of Basel-Stadt and at a renowned commercial law firm in Zurich, among others. In addition, Simon Olstein worked in the legal department of a leading global life science company at the divisional headquarters in Basel and served most recently as a Legal Counsel for an international specialty pharmaceutical company.

Simon Olstein primarily advises clients in German and English and speaks French as well. He is registered with the Bar Register of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and is admitted to practice throughout Switzerland.
