Nicole Simmons is an experienced attorney specializing in labor and employment, real estate, and gaming issues affecting tribes, tribal members, and commercial business clients alike.

Nicole practices on a wide array of commercial real estate transactions throughout the country assisting commercial clients in acquiring, selling, and leasing property. Her experience includes, but is not limited to, preparing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, architectural and other design agreements, easements, restrictive covenants, and other documentation. Nicole also assists energy developers in acquiring, leasing and developing energy projects in Arizona that includes preparing and negotiating easements, surface use agreements, crossing agreements, and other curatives under state and federal law.

Her experience includes:

• Representation of one of the nation's largest tribally designated housing entities in labor and employment related matters, including conducting internal employment investigations, drafting employment policies and contracts, internal employment training, and litigating matters before tribal administrative agencies and courts.


• Advising numerous tribal governments, Boards of Commissioners, authorities, and business committees to resolve employment matters.


• Representation of employers of all sizes across a wide range of industries in employment matters, including one of the largest hospitals in the state of Arizona.


• Representation of business clients in general commercial litigation and contracts disputes.


• Representation of clients in regards to federal and state gaming law, with an emphasis on Indian gaming and Arizona and National Indian Gaming Commission issues.
