Profile
Martin Chocano specializes in international and domestic arbitrations, as well as in commercial, civil, constitutional and administrative-contentious litigations.
Martin has experience in international investment arbitrations settled by the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and those in compliance with the UNICTRAL Arbitration Rules. He usually represents clients on international arbitrations settled by the International Chamber of Commerce in terms of commercial, construction, infrastructure and regulatory disputes.
He also had litigating at all levels of the Judiciary, including the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court.
He was an International Visiting Advisor on Dechert LLP international arbitration practice at their Washington D.C. offices. He has been assistant professor of Procedural Law at Universidad de Lima.
