Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Wang had two years of experience practicing law with EAST IP, a prestigious Chinese law firm, founded by Dr. Lulin Gao, the first commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office, and focused on intellectual property and related matters. His practice areas at Han Kun include venture capital and private equity, offshore public offering, foreign direct investment in high-tech areas, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property protection. He has represented both companies and investors in numerous venture capital and private equity financing transactions. Mr. Wang is recognized by Chambers & Partners as an Asia-Pacific Outstanding Younger Partner in 2013.
