Career Highlights

  • New Grafton Correctional Centre – advised the NSW Government on all aspects of this project, including to develop the contractual framework within which the government will deliver the New Grafton Correctional Centre, its first operator-led, fully outsourced correctional facility
  • New Perth Stadium PPP – advised Brookfield Multiplex Constructions– as the design and construction subcontractor on the new Perth Stadium PPP
  • Aru to Pūhoi Warkworth Motorway PPP – advised the Northlink consortium in relation to its bid for the Aru to Pūhoi Warkworth Motorway PPP in New Zealand
  • Toowoomba Second Range Crossing PPP – advised the RangeLink Consortium in relation to its bid for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing PPP project
  • Quay Quarter Tower – advised AMP Services on its agreement for lease of 36,000 square metres at Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney, including undertaking extensive negotiations with the landlord and advising on integration with the existing heritage site at neighbouring 33 Alfred Street
  • Kings Square – advised DEXUS Property Group on the acquisition and development of three new mixed-use buildings at Kings Square in Perth
  • Discovery Point – advised a wholly owned subsidiary of Frasers Property Australia on the $600 million Discovery Point development at Wolli Creek in NSW
  • B9 Paper mill – advised Amcor in relation to the redevelopment of its B9 paper mill at Botany
  • Westpac Data Centre upgrades – Advised Westpac Banking Corporation on remediation and upgrade works to its core data centre facilities in North Ryde and Chatswood

    The new strata building bond and defect inspection scheme established under the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 (NSW) commenced operation in NSW on 1 January 2018. The new scheme applies to contracts entered into from 1 January 2018 for building work to construct residential or partially-residential strata properties that are four storeys or more.
