Davide Cerutti's areas of specialization are law of persons and family law (protection of legal personality, matrimonial planning, divorce), inheritance law (both private and corporate inheritance planning and litigation, assisting private clients and HNWIs), medical law (civil, administrative and criminal liability; professional licensing and human resources), media and communication law and, finally, ethical aspects of law (in particular corporate ethical regulations). His other areas of expertise are tenancy law, enforcement/insolvency law, labour law, corporate and commercial law. His prestigious career, which combines work and academic experience, enables him to fully understand his clients' needs. In the above-mentioned disciplines Davide Cerutti is active in consulting and litigation, as well as arbitrator. He regularly speaks at conferences and is the author of numerous publications (both articles and monographs).

Born in 1979, Davide Cerutti studied at the University of Lausanne (lic. iur. 2002, Dr iur. 2008) and joined Walder Wyss in 2019, after working for two years as an extraordinary judge at the First Civil Chamber of the Ticino Court of Appeal and for six years in an important law firm in Bellinzona and Lugano.

In addition to his work as a lawyer and arbitrator (he is president of an Arbitration Tribunal CCL), Davide Cerutti is also active in academic teaching. He has been a lecturer at the University of Neuchâtel and an adjunct professor at the University of Lausanne. Davide Cerutti currently teaches at the University of Lugano (communication law) and at the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (both by invitation and as head of two modules of the SAC in health law). Davide Cerutti is also active in various professional and academic committees.

Finally, Davide Cerutti is Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the University of Lugano. He is also member of the Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en éthique (CIRE) at the University of Lausanne and of the Institut d’éthique appliquée (IDÉA) at the University of Laval (Québec). His experience in the field of ethics allows him to advise companies in this new and expanding field.

Davide Cerutti speaks Italian, French, English, Portuguese (Brazilian), German and Spanish. He also speaks Polish. He is registered in the register of lawyers of the Canton of Ticino and is licensed to practice throughout Switzerland.
