Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and an LL.M. from the University of California Los Angeles – UCLA where he graduated with honors and obtained the Masin Family Gold Award in Federal Income Tax. He is also a Specialist in Taxation from the Universidad del Rosario and conducted studies in International Financial Reporting Standards - IFRS in the Universidad Sergio Arboleda.

Daniel has advised local and international clients in legal and tax consulting, tax planning, corporate and tax restructuring, merger and acquisitions, interpretation and application of tax treaties, foreign direct investments, repatriation of profits and due diligence.

Daniel has also taught Tax Law in the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, and served as professor in Double Taxation Treaties and assistant professor in Corporate Law and International Business Law
