Christine Leuch is a managing associate in the Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Data Protection group. She specialises in trademark law and fair trading law. She regularly advises and represents clients in contract negotiations and court and administrative proceedings in these areas, in particular in trademark registration and protection. Christine also counts the fields of product regulation, product safety and product liability, particularly food and consumer goods, among her areas of expertise. She advises national and international clients on legal requirements for products (such as labelling regulations and advertising regulations) and market surveillance in Switzerland (in particular the implementation of measures for product safety risks, such as withdrawals and recalls), as well as any liability risks for manufacturers under Swiss product liability law. In this regard, she also regularly provides advice for clients on setting up and negotiating licensing and distribution agreements.
Christine Leuch was born in 1985. She studied law at the University of Zürich (lic. iur. in 2010) and the University of Chicago Law School (LL.M. in 2014). Christine Leuch was admitted to the Lucerne bar in 2013. Before joining Walder Wyss in 2014, Christine Leuch worked part-time at a bigger corporate law firm in Zürich and as a trainee for a district court and a law firm in Lucerne. Also, Christine Leuch assisted at the chair of private law, comparative law and European law at the University of Lucerne.
